Day 2
After a long day of driving, we found a lovely campground in Unicoi, TN just before the mountains into North Carolina. We drove in and out of rain showers all day, some heavy but most fairly gentle. I hope some of this rain makes its way north to Maryland. Most of our ride yesterday was down I-81 through Virginia. Today’s drive into the mountains of North Carolina should be more interesting. The campground in TN is called Woodsmoke. The owner, Vega Crummer loves cats and pottery. We’ll send her a Shiloh Pottery mug when we get home. Next stop, Jim and Kathy Hirst’s.
